The all-new 2016 Engineering Academic Challenge - developed by students for students is launching in October.  We invite you to register for our informational webinar on September 21, 2016  at 10:00 a.m. EDT to learn the key benefits in playing the Engineering Academic Challenge at your university.

The Engineering Academic Challenge is an immersive, 5-week interactive problem-set competition, featuring weekly thematic engineering challenges built around five transdisciplinary themes inspired by the National Academy of Engineering Grand Challenges.

The challenge question sets were developed by a team of six engineering students and an engineering librarian, Jay Bhatt at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Lead content developer Daniel Christe, Research Associate - Drexel Mechanical Engineering, will share insights on game-based learning and give a live demonstration of the all-new 2016 Engineering Academic Challenge, which brings both Compendex and Knovel databases together for the very first time!

Daniel Christe will cover topics including:

  • Why game-based learning from a student, librarian and faculty perspective
  • New Engineering Academic Challenge features
  • Live demos of Compendex and Knovel for new players*
*Your institution must subscribe to either Compendex or Knovel in order to play the game.
