Engineering Village ended 2015 on a high note with our 32nd consecutive product release in December.  As we embark on 2016, we remain dedicated to enhancing the quality and efficiency of our 12 database platform, as it supports your daily engineering research needs.

"There's nothing I believe in more strongly than getting young people interested in science and engineering,
for a better tomorrow, for all humankind." - Bill Nye

We look forward to building a ‘better tomorrow’ with you in 2016.

Engineering Village December updates:

1. Search History - improves accessibility

Search History is now more visibly accessible in its new location, a tab directly above the search box, which displays up to 50 of your most recent searches within the session.

2. Deduplication widget - helps search results refinement

Easily remove duplicate records by clicking on the Remove Duplicates button on the left side of the results page.  A new remove duplicates widget enables users to specify a field
or database preferences for displaying a duplicate record.  Duplicate records will be removed from the first 1,000 records within the results set.

3. Quick Search Tutorial - enables you to hone your Quick Search skills

Over the past 5 months, the Engineering Village team has implemented short tutorials on all searching, results and record pages.  The tutorials are accessible by clicking on Support then Tutorial.  The new Quick Search tutorial is a guided tour, which takes less than 2 minutes to complete and imparts relevant Quick Search tips and tricks to help you better leverage the powerful tools within the Engineering Village platform.
