The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is a civil rights law that protects against discrimination based on disability and Engineering Village is committed to ensuring our platform is made accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. Our Engineering Village team consists of developers and user experience specialist who actively work to increase the accessibility and usability of our website, and in doing so, adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines.

One click access with the Engineering Village search widget

The widget is a tiny application that runs on the institution or library website, providing direct access to Engineering Village. Rather than having your patrons search for access clicking through several web pages or sifting through bookmarks, they can use the widget to access Engineering Village quickly and conveniently!

How does it work?

The Search Widget allows 1 click access to Engineering Village from almost anywhere on the web.

Engineering Village adds new download formats and upgrades accessibility

Accessibility Statement

Engineering Village features, content, and functionality have been designed to be accessible by all users and devices. We strive to adhere to the  U.S. Section 508 Guidelines for Web. We strive to meet the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. See Engineering Village’s Accessibility Statement.

 


 

New Download Formats

Two download formats have been added: RTF (Word© friendly format) and PDF. All documents can be downloaded in these formats.
