toolkitWe recently updated the Engineering Village Librarian Toolkit for Compendex, Inspec, GEOBASE and GeoRef databases on the Engineering Village platform.  If you subscribe to Engineering Village, you should have received an email this week with a direct link to the toolkit page. Please bookmark the page for your convenience.

You may have noticed new Engineering Village features that benefit your workflow.  Please take a moment to review two special updates.

Inspec has partnered with ProQuest to include over 12,000 ProQuest dissertation records in the Inspec database on Engineering Village.  These records can be retrieved by searching (DS wn DT) on the Expert Search page or limiting to Document type = dissertation on the results page.  A link to the full text dissertations is available on the Detailed record page.

IET’s Inspec database reached the milestone of adding the 15 millionth record, an article from a team of researchers from Besançon, France, published in the Elsevier journal Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical. This article joins other great scientific achievements featured by Inspec over the years. Researchers, engineers and scientists can access Inspec using the Engineering Village platform, enabling them to quickly obtain information needed to stay up-to-date, fuel scientific discoveries and maximize research effectiveness.
